👀 We’re not quite sure how this became a marketing trend…
Apparently the latest way to promote your products is to post a “FINAL NOTICE” telling someone to come forward because they’ve forgotten to pay for their shopping… then conveniently show off everything they “took”. 😂

Maybe we’re old fashioned at I.C. Quality Meats…
But we’d rather just tell you:
🥩 Our meat is quality.
🔪 It’s prepared by actual butchers.
👨‍👩‍👦 We’re a family business, nearly 40 years in.
💷 And yes… you do still have to pay for it. 🤣

No fake manhunts.
No “Rachel, come forward immediately.”
No pretending somebody’s legged it down Newtown High Street with 4lb of sausages under their coat. 😂

Although if someone did manage to run off carrying one of our Meat for the Week packs…
Fair play, because there’s some weight in them. 💪🤣

We’ll stick to letting the meat do the advertising.

🥩 40 YEARS AGO… WE WEREN’T AFRAID OF REAL FOOD.

Eggs were eggs.
Butter was butter.
Meat was meat.
Then somewhere along the way, real food became the thing we were told to fear… while shelves filled up with products containing ingredient lists longer than your shopping receipt. 😅

Funny how things come full circle.
People are looking at what they eat again.

🥛 Proper, simple ingredients
REAL FOOD.

And while food trends have changed countless times over the years, one thing hasn’t changed here…
We’re still butchering and selling quality meat the way our family always has.

SIX YEARS. SAME HOME. BIGGER DREAMS.

How on earth has it been 6 YEARS since I.C. Quality Meats moved into the Severnside Centre?! 🤯🥩

What was once our “new shop” is now very much our HOME. ❤️

And actually… We think it might just be our FOREVER HOME. 🏡🖤

Six years ago, we took a chance.
Today, we’re busier than ever, welcoming more new faces through the door, supplying more local businesses, making more of our own products and continuing a family business that’s been doing things the proper way for 40 YEARS. 🔪🥩

But here's the exciting bit...
👀 WE’RE NOWHERE NEAR FINISHED.
There are some HUGE plans in the pipeline for I.C. Quality Meats.
Plans to grow.
Plans to improve.
Plans to invest.

THE REALITY OF A BUSY BANK HOLIDAY…

You’ve kept us absolutely FLAT OUT and now we’ve got some catching up to do! 😅🔪

Being a small family butcher’s means when we lose a day to a Bank Holiday…

We really do lose a day.

The preparation doesn’t magically happen.
The counters don’t refill themselves.
And unfortunately, the sausages haven’t learnt to make themselves yet. 😂

More fresh stock is incoming and we’ll be working our socks off getting everything cut, prepared and ready for you.

So please bear with us if we’re a little lighter than usual while we catch back up. ❤️

It might look like chaos behind the counter…
But to us, a busy shop is the biggest compliment you could give a small business. 🥹

It’s been another incredibly busy week at I.C. Quality Meats, getting everything prepared for the Bank Holiday weekend, and once again you’ve kept us well and truly on our toes!

Nearly 40 years in, and to still be getting busier, welcoming new faces and seeing so many loyal customers week after week means more than you’ll ever know. ❤️
