Sorry we a bit late on the WIN THE SLAB competition. Weve had such a busy week! So for that we are grateful.

Slab weight was 505g. We had 4 close guesses who all guessed 500g. So we decided we would leave it up to fate and the wheel of names.

We’re delighted to announce that Moorcroft Foods has been selected as part of the Lidl Northern Ireland Kickstart Class of 2026 🎉

We’re especially excited to be launching Fenner’s Clean & Cured Air-Dried Steak Biltong as part of this journey — introducing a new generation of clean-label meat snacking to consumers across Northern Ireland.

To be included alongside so many fantastic local food and drink producers is something we’re incredibly proud of. The Kickstart programme provides growing Northern Irish brands with the opportunity to bring their products to Lidl stores across the region, alongside valuable business development support to help brands scale and grow.

Fenner’s Clean & Cured has been developed for consumers looking for a simple, high-protein snack without compromising on taste. Made with just 3 simple main ingredients, our air-dried steak range is built around a clean-label approach with quality and flavour at its core.

With generations of meat industry experience behind Moorcroft Foods, we’re excited for the next chapter and the opportunity to introduce even more people to the Fenner’s range.
