Pack your bikini, your passport... and your chilli oil. Bland food ruins holidays.
Trust me, I built a legacy business on that trauma.
Last weekend, I was in Kos, on a girls' trip with my sister and two other friends.
An offshoot of her fabulous 50th birthday adventure in Dubai three years ago, this one was slower, simpler… and just what we needed.
Half-board at a half-empty resort.
It was perfect.
Even more so because Eh-Co Chilli Oil was right there with me, spicing up every buffet bite into something crave-worthy.
It brought me right back to Crete, nearly seven years ago.
A family holiday in a beautiful place.
But something was off...
No decent chilli in sight😱
My husband and I nearly passed out from chilli deprivation.
A lovely French couple at the next table were also suffering.
The resort's solution? Tabasco.
With all due respect… it didn’t come close.
I remember sitting there, knowing that my dad’s homemade chilli oil was sitting untouched in a cupboard at home.
And you already know Cameroon pepper doesn't come to play.
That was the moment when excruciating need met relentless mission:
