I popped into the chiller to grab some sausages for a customer… then spotted this sitting on the shelf.

I had to stop and take a photo.

Just look at that marbling. 🤩

This JAGYU sirloin is waiting to be cut into steaks for this weekend’s Farmers’ Market.

If there’s a particular cut you’d like, just send us a message. We’re always happy to put something aside for collection from the farm.

The chiller is looking seriously good at the moment.

Black Barn Farm will be full of wonderful fresh, local produce at our August farmers' market this Saturday, 8th August. Open from 9:30am to 1:30pm with over 65 food, drink and craft stalls in attendance. Dogs on leads welcome.

Black Barn Farm Summer Fair will return this year as a two day event on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August. Set amongst the orchards at Black Barn Farm, our Summer Fair will host over 80 local small businesses.

Meet Beth & Wayne 👋

If you’re visiting us today at Blackbarn Farmers Market, these are the faces you’ll find on our produce stall.

But they’re not just here to sell our meat… they’re the very people who care for our pigs, sheep and cattle every single day.

From lambing and calving to feeding, health checks and daily care, there isn’t an animal on this farm they don’t know. They put their heart into looking after every one with the highest standards of welfare, right through every stage of its life.

Today they’re standing behind the counter, selling the very food they’ve helped produce. So if you’ve got a question about our meat, you’re talking to the people who know it better than anyone.

From farm to fork, they’re part of every step of the journey. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️
