We’re delighted to have picked up another 2-star Great Taste Awards for our traditional pork sausage — a family favourite across Norfolk for good reason.

The judges’ notes said it best: well-filled and plump, rusk evenly distributed, flavour and texture spot on. Three independent judges, all scoring two stars.

Awards get re-judged every few years, so this isn’t a one-off — it’s proof the standards haven’t slipped.

In memory of Tim Allen

It’s with heavy hearts that we share the sad news that Tim Allen, our valued pig farmer from South Creake, has passed away.

Tim was more than just a supplier to us. He was a true craftsman who lived and breathed the farming life. His dedication to raising the finest pigs, his integrity, and his genuine care for his animals and his craft made him someone we were proud to work alongside. Every product we’ve shared from Tim’s farm has carried with it his passion and commitment to quality.

Beyond business, Tim was a wonderful person. He was kind-hearted, knowledgeable and always generous with his time and wisdom. He was a pillar of our South Creake community, and his legacy will live on through the generations he inspired and the relationships he built.

We will deeply miss his warm presence, his stories, and his unwavering dedication to doing things the right way.

Our thoughts are with Tim’s family and loved ones during this time.

A service to celebrate Tim’s life will be held on Friday 7th at South Creake Church at 2:30pm.

Tim, thank you for everything you’ve given to us and to this community. You’ll be remembered with the greatest respect and affection.
