Honey bee colonies available. If anyone is interested in starting up beekeeping or just getting some more colonies, I have 2 starter hive colonies available for sale. They are on 6 frames, ( 3-4 brood, 1 stores and 1 pollen) with an overwintered marked 2025 queen. They were made from my own colonies which I have been breeding selectively for the past 8 years. They need transferring to full size hives. If anyone is interested please message me directly.

Great to see our bees enjoying the garden. The cherry trees and all flowering bushes are literally buzzing 🤩🐝

Interesting and very useful article about bee swarming which I helped to write few years ago :)

Snowdrops are the first very important source of pollen and nectar for the bees early spring. Our bees were loving the snowdrops today 🤩🐝
