It was a pleasure to welcome Nottingham North Councillor Audra Wynter to my shop yesterday. I’m grateful for the strong relationship we’ve built with the local team over the past decade while working together to address community issues.
I’m also proud that Alex Norris MP
has visited the shop in the past, recognising the importance of local businesses serving our community.
Our store is the first ethnic grocery shop in Bestwood, filling a gap that existed for many years. We recently opened to provide products that are especially valued by the Sri Lankan and Afro-Caribbean communities in Bestwood and the surrounding areas, while also giving everyone the opportunity to discover and learn about different cultures through food.
Many local residents are curious about our ethnic groceries, exotic fruits, and vegetables, and we are always happy to answer questions and share information.
Most importantly, I would like to thank the local community for the overwhelming support we have received. Your encouragement means a great deal, and we look forward to continuing to serve everyone in Bestwood and beyond.
