Our Monthly Saturday Market, Poultry and Pet Food Auction is back this Saturday, with a great mix of local food, crafts, bargains, auctions and plenty to browse!

🌱 Food & Craft Traders | 9am–1pm
🚗 Car Boot Sale | 10am–1pm
🐔 Poultry Auction | 9:30am | CASH ONLY
🐾 Pet Food Auction | 10am–1:30pm | CASH ONLY

Note: We can only accept pre-booked birds only.

Whether you’re looking for something tasty, something handmade, a bargain or perhaps a few new feathered friends, there’s plenty happening at the Market!

Hatherleigh Community Market
Get your dancing shoes ready and join us for another fantastic evening of music, dancing and good company at our Harvest Home Ceilidh, raising funds for Hatherleigh Community Market.
We’re delighted to welcome The Oggle Band for an evening of lively traditional music and ceilidh dancing. Whether you know all the moves or have never been to a ceilidh before, everyone is welcome. There’ll be a caller to guide you through the dances, so no experience is needed!
TICKETS
🎟️ Adults: £15
🎟️ Children: £5
Your ticket includes a light supper (with vegetarian option available).

We’ll also be holding a raffle on the night, with some excellent prizes up for grabs, so don’t forget to bring cash to try your luck!

💚 A BIG thank you to Hatherleigh Repair Café! 🛠️

The team at Hatherleigh Community Market would like to say a huge thank you to Hatherleigh Repair Café, run by Sustainable Hatherleigh, and especially to Robin Dumpleton, who has kindly repaired the thermostat on the Market’s Burco water heater completely free of charge.

It’s a brilliant example of what can happen when local organisations support one another. 🤝

Thanks to Robin’s expertise and the Repair Café’s commitment to repair to reduce waste, our water heater has been given a new lease of life rather than becoming another electrical item destined for landfill.

Thank you, Robin, and thank you to everyone else involved the Repair Cafe for making Hatherleigh a more sustainable community.

Just wanted to say thank to everyone involved in today's Summer Fair '26.
Despite the rain it was a great fun day.
The demonstrations were marvellous, the traders awesome , the caterers legends and the fair game entertainers epic.
Thank you all for playing a part in providing a great event and thanks also to those who came along.

🌾 COUNTRY CRAFTS & FOOD FAIR, THIS SATURDAY! 🌾

We’re bringing a little taste of the traditional country fair to Hatherleigh Community Market this Saturday, with a packed day of food, crafts, demonstrations and good old-fashioned fun!

Come along and have a go at our traditional fairground games, including the Coconut Shy, Tin Can Alley, Hook a Duck, Splat the Rat and Buzz Wire. 🎪🥥🦆

There’ll be plenty more to see and enjoy too:

🧺 Country craft demonstrations, with traditional skills being demonstrated throughout the day
🥕 Food Hall, packed with fantastic local producers and plenty of tasty treats
🎨 Craft & gift stalls featuring talented local makers
🎶 Traditional barrel organ bringing some proper old-fashioned fairground atmosphere
🍰 Cream teas & café, because no country fair is complete without a scone or two!

And best of all, ENTRY IS FREE!

Hi,, Nik here from the market cafe,,,, just noticed I accidentally over charged someone today on the card reader,,,, should have been £5.50 but fat fingers and small buttons,, I do apologise and I’ve refunded the full amount ,,, not sure who this was as can’t see any names or details,,, last four digits 5402,,, sorry about this,,,, but all sorted,, regards,,,👍full refund given,,,,👍
