We’re looking for a local sign maker or business to help us with three signs for The Country Larder Farm Shop.

As a small family business, we’d much rather support another local business than go to a large national company.

In return, we’d be happy to discuss some advertising and promotion through our page and at the shop itself. With nearly 4,400 followers and a growing customer base, we’d love to build a relationship that benefits both businesses. ❤️

Good Morning from The Country Larder ❤️

What a beautiful start to the day!

Sunshine, blue skies and even a rainbow over the South Devon countryside this morning. Moments like these remind us just how lucky we are to live and work in such a wonderful part of the world.

The shop is open and fully stocked with fresh produce, organic milk, beautiful bread and plenty of seasonal treats.

One of the true tastes of early summer!

Fresh broad beans are back and they’re absolutely delicious. Perfect simply cooked with butter, garlic and fresh mint, or served alongside new potatoes and your favourite roast.

It’s a wet and rainy Monday morning, but don’t let the weather fool you… June sunshine will be back soon! 🌿❤️

In the meantime, we’re fully stocked with fresh produce, organic milk, beautiful bread, and plenty of comforting treats to brighten the start of the week.

☀️⚡ Powered By The Sun ⚡☀️

A little milestone we’re rather proud of…

For the first time since opening The Country Larder, all 10 of our solar panels are now installed and working together.

Combined with our battery storage and 50A solar charger, the shop is now able to run entirely from solar power, with the batteries taking over overnight.

Even on cloudy days, we’re generating enough electricity to keep the batteries full and the shop running.

It’s taken plenty of hard work, learning and gradual improvements, but we’re incredibly proud to be building a business that is more sustainable, more resilient and less reliant on rising energy costs.

Every penny we save on electricity is another penny we can invest back into better produce, stronger links with farmers and producers, and improving the shop for everyone.

From the beginning, we’ve wanted The Country Larder to be built on simple principles:

🚜 Supporting Farmers

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us on this journey. Every loaf of bread, every bottle of milk and every punnet of strawberries helps us build something special for the future.
