We've been a bit quiet here at Gwenyn Penprysg so far this year, however as we both hold down full time jobs it's sometimes difficult to find the time to post regular updates.
However, with the weather improving it's once more beekeeping season and we are pleased to say that our bees have overwintered really well, and are currently making the most of the spring blossoms and flowers. We already have a few events lined up in our schedule, and are looking forward to the year to come!

Happy New Year from us at Gwenyn Penprysg. Looking forward to seeing what 2026 will bring

With the wet weather it's time for inside jobs, like rendering and filtering beeswax cappings from our latest honey harvest. These will be turned into candles for the autumn markets.
