Apricots maybe small in size but offer a big flavour and lots of nutrition. These yellow/orange fruit are rich in vitamins and minerals.
There flavour ranges from sweet to sweet-tart depending on the variety.
The flesh of an apricot is soft and somewhat juicy when ripe. They have velvety skin with soft fuzz.
The high level of vitamins, flavoids and potassium, can benefit a range of health issues. Flavoids work to reduce inflammation and potassium is important for nerves and muscle function. They are filled with vitamin A which is brilliant for eye health.
