T-bone.. something for everyone! We have an outsanding bacon and sausage counter with over 4 types of bacon; middle, back, rind on and streaky.. Over 10 flavours of sausage! All our sausage and burgers are our own made and we are of course home to the infamous Pershore Sausage! Then there is our BBQ range, definetly worth a try whatever the weather! If thats not for you we have the classics; pigs and lambs liver, tripe, lambs hearts, shin of beef, mince beef, stew.. the list goes on! The deli holds a huge array of own cooked meats, pates, pork pies, sausage rolls, scotch eggs and meals. All our own made and at reasonable prices. We also stock white pudding and chitterlings.. both a rarity these days! Our Cheese counter boasts over 70 cheeses to include local, continental and old fashioned favourites. If we dont have it we will do our utmost to source it for you! Last but not least our tantalising hot counter! Serving fresh hot chickens, belly pork with crackling, southern fried chicken and gammon hocks! A little round-up of what's fresh and in store this week at Abbey Butchers.

Our Welsh New Season Half Shoulders of Lamb are proving popular at just £17.99 each, perfect for a family roast or a slow-cooked weekend meal.

Our Prime English Rump Steak is just £8.99 per lb, cut fresh and packed with flavour.

We've also got some wonderful local produce on the counter, including fresh asparagus and beautiful strawberries grown less than five miles from the shop. Their colour, freshness and flavour are a real reminder of just how good local food can be.

We can't get over how beautiful these strawberries look this week.

Grown less than five miles from our shop, they've travelled only a fraction of the distance that many supermarket strawberries do. That means fewer food miles, fresher fruit and more support for local growers right here in our community.

We know that every shopping trip seems to cost a little more these days, and many families are keeping a close eye on what goes in the basket.

That's why we've decided to do something about at least one everyday favourite.

Our mature cheddar is now just 89p per 100g — a price we haven't seen since 2017.

It's the same delicious, full-flavoured mature cheddar, packed with character and aged to develop that rich, creamy taste so many of our customers love. Just a little easier on the purse strings.

There's a lovely local connection too. Cheddar cheese takes its name from the village of Cheddar in Somerset, where cheesemakers traditionally matured their cheeses in the cool caves of the gorge. Mature cheddar is typically aged for 9 to 12 months, giving it the deeper flavour and crumbly texture that makes it such a British favourite.

Abbey Butchers will be closing at 1pm on Friday as our team heads over to support the Crowle Football Club Presentation Evening, where we'll be firing up the BBQ for players, families and supporters.

If you're planning a visit, please call in before 1pm.

We're delighted to be supporting a great local club and helping make the evening a memorable one.
