Thistlemoor Wood Honey

Thistlemoor Wood Honey Beautiful local honey from my own busy honey bees. All our honey is single Apiary unblended, what you taste is what the bees made.

It's a cool bright day at Market Deeping Wednesday Market this morning. There's a risk of rain later, so come over earlier to keep dry!!

All our jams are seasonal and come from our garden, friends' gardens or are foraged and Rhubarb is now in full swing and so we have both Rhubarb and Ginger Jam and Rhubarb Chutney available. We have our Blackberry and Blackcurrant "best Jam ever" and thin and thick cut Marmalade. We also have Quince and Apple Chutney which is unusual, but also delicious!

I have harvested the spring honey from our hives, but am waiting for it to settle and see if any is going to set before putting it in jars. Probably have some available in July.

We have runny honey from and Hill Farm at and soft set honey from Hill Farm. I also have the last jar of Marholm soft set honey - first come, first served!!!!

Look forward to seeing you later!

The 2026 Honey Harvest has started!

All our honey is put into buckets and left to rest for 2-4 weeks to check whether it is going to set or not.

If it doesn't, it'll be in our jars of runny honey, if it does we'll make into a super soft set honey, just the ticket if you like honey on your toast!

Here's to a successful honey harvest!

Lots of lovely new products available today at Market Deeping Wednesday Market!

Rhubarb is back in season and Gill has been busy picking the rhubarb from our garden and has made Rhubarb Chutney and Rhubarb and Ginger Jam. Both delicious!

On the honey front we have soft set honey from Hill Farm. It is really lovely!

We have runny honey from Marholm and Hill Farm and the last few jars of soft set honey from Marholm.

Thin and thick cut marmalade and Quince and Apple Chutney and Blackberry and Blackcurrant "the best jam ever"!

Last but not least the fragrant beeswax and honey cosmetics. There are body creams (which are very good - I use them on my very dry hands and they've made an enormous difference), soaps and lip balms. If you want to spoil the pooch in your life, treat them to some of our pet paw lotion!

And now for the weather! It's a beautiful sunny day, but not too hot with a nice breeze!

Time for our weekly weather update from Market Deeping Wednesday Market! Cool today, so come wrapped up warm and there's a slight threat of rain around 9:30. After that it should be dry.

Our local natural honey from and , runny from Hill Farm and Marholm and soft set from Marholm.

Homemade jams marmalade and chutney. There is thin and thick cut marmalade, Quince and Apple Chutney and Blackberry and Blackcurrant "best jam ever".

The beeswax and honey based cosmetics are smelling as lovely as ever. I've started using one of the creams on my very dry hands and it has made a huge difference. Lots of my customers are saying how good they have found the soaps and the creams. Come and try them for yourself!

Look forward to seeing you later!
