L.A Hannam and Sons Among the locals, it is known as 'The Butchers'. The Butchers is a family run business, which has been around for over 55 years.

The shop was started by the late Mr L.A Hannam (also known as Roy Hannam) who died on Christmas day in 2008 at the grand age of 91. Mr Hannam had four children: Lyle, Kevin, Jerry and Liz, and the Butchers is now run by two of his son's, Jerry and Kevin Hannam. The shop sells a variety of different products, as well as good, quality English meat. The shop has many loyal customers and is very popular among villagers. It is a shop known for it's superb meat, good humour and friendly staff.
