Unfortunately, we won’t be at Mrs Kirkham’s Farm Shop tomorrow morning as we normally are. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

If there’s anything you’d like, farm collection will be available on Friday at the following times:
🕝 2:30pm–4:30pm
🕡 6:30pm–8:00pm

Please send us a message before coming so we can make sure your order is ready for collection.

We are back with another round of educational farm visits and what a fantastic day we’ve had to start it all off 👩‍🌾 🐑 🐂 🐖 🐓 🚜
We talked about how we farm here at Wyresdale Dexters, meeting all the animals and discussed how we work with nature alongside all we do. The kids were a credit to their families asking lots of really interesting questions and not being afraid to get stuck in to all the activities. Looking forward to more sessions this summer ☀️

Join us at Wyresdale Dexters for our Educational Access Visits – a hands-on 3-hour farm experience where learning comes to life!

Children and groups will:
🐂 🐑 🐖 Take a guided tour of our working farm
🌾 Discover how farming, conservation and food production work together
👐 Get involved in a hands-on farming or conservation activity
🌳 Spend time outdoors, connecting with nature and supporting wellbeing

Using the farm as our classroom, we’ll inspire curiosity about where food comes from, how we care for the environment, and the important role farmers play.

🌿 It's Farmers' Market Weekend at Hoghton Tower! 🌿

Join us tomorrow from 10am–2pm and browse a fantastic selection of local produce, artisan treats, handmade gifts and more from our wonderful traders.

🚗 Entry is just £3 per car or for a group of up to 6 pedestrians.

🐶 Dogs are very welcome, so bring the whole family (including your four-legged friends!) for a great day out.

Join us at Hoghton Tower this Sunday from 10am – 2pm for our monthly Farmers' Market, featuring a fantastic selection of local traders offering fresh produce, artisan treats, handmade gifts, and so much more.

🚚 NEW LONGTON & SURROUNDING AREA – WE’RE COMING TO YOU! 🥩

Following the sad news that Flock2 Artisan Crafts & Farmers Market won’t be running for the foreseeable future, we’d still love to make it as easy as possible for you to enjoy our homebred Dexter beef, lamb and pork.

This Sunday (12th July) we’ll be offering our first door-to-door delivery service in New Longton and the surrounding area, delivering between 10am and 12pm in our shiny new Wyresdale Dexters van! 🚐

If there’s enough interest, we’d love to make this a regular monthly service on the 2nd Sunday of each month.

It is with the saddest heart that we have to share this news. Chris has introduced us to some wonderful people over the last few years since inviting us to the very first market 😢
All is not lost. We will organise some form of monthly collection/delivery service starting next Sunday in New Longton for our customers who have pre-orders. Please keep your eyes peeled on our social media this week and we will let you know the plan 👀

An Important Update About Flock2 Artisan & Farmers Market - New Longton

It is with a very heavy heart that I have made the difficult decision to cancel Flock2 Artisan & Farmers Market at New Longton.

For the past 2 years, the market has been a place where local makers, farmers, producers and small businesses have come together, and it’s been a privilege to see so many people visit, shop local and support independent businesses.

Unfortunately, over time, visitor numbers have declined, and despite my best efforts to keep the market going, it is no longer possible to continue.

I want to say a sincere thank you to everyone who has ever visited the market, bought from our traders, recommended us to friends, shared our posts, or simply stopped by for a browse. Every visit, every purchase and every kind word has been appreciated more than you know.

While this is incredibly sad, I’m choosing to see it as the end of one chapter rather than the end of the story.

Please continue to support your local independent businesses, makers, farmers and artisans whenever you can. Your support really does make a difference.
