I think it’s time I introduce myself…
Hi, I’m Chelle — the baker behind Sea Salt & Butter Bakehouse… your new seaside spot for buttery bakes, sea salt cookies, and a little bit of American magic.
Here’s what you can expect:

Basically… butter, sugar, sea air… and happiness.
A little about me…
I graduated culinary school in 2013 as a single mum and completely fell in love with making specialty cakes. Big ones. Over-the-top ones. The kind that make people stop and stare.
That passion took me all the way to competing on international TV (yes… really!) and eventually opening my very first bakery. It was my dream… and I poured my whole heart into it.
Life had a few plot twists (as it does), and I closed that bakery at 27. But baking never really left me… it just simmered quietly in the background while I learned, grew, and figured out who I really was as a baker.
Fast forward to last year…
I reinvented myself and opened Sutton-on-Sea’s very first honesty box bakery. It was small, charming, and full of heart. Then through a series of very complicated events… Daily Fetch took a little paws 🐾
But here’s the thing…
Sometimes a pause is just a preheat.
Because after learning SO much about Lincolnshire, small business, and building something the right way… I went back to the drawing board, refined everything, and got ready for something even better.
And now… I’m back.
Excited. Inspired. And ready to bake.
Sea Salt & Butter Bakehouse is my fresh start — a cozy, fun, all-American seaside bakery built from scratch. And the best part? Daily Fetch will have its own little space inside too.
We’ll also be bringing in fresh bread from Roman Bank Bakery and creating high-quality seasonal bakes using the finest Lincolnshire ingredients.
