Nettlebridge Meat Company Nettlebridge Meat Company NMC was started earlier this year after I dramatically changed careers to work with my father on our family run farm in Somerset.

Stoke Bottom Farm has been in our family since the 1950's initially run by my grandfather Phillip and then my father Tom. It's been predominantly a dairy farm but due to the decline in the dairy industry we decided to stop milk production, sell our herd and start beef farming. Since January we have been raising a herd of 400 Aberdeen Angus and continental breeds of different ages. The beef animals

take between 15 and 22 months to mature to the point of slaughter. The meat is then hung for 28 days to get the best flavour and tenderness. I am selling the beef in beef boxes; in the box you will get a variety of different cuts including steak, roasting joints, mince and stewing steak. I will also be doing batches of burgers for the bbq. All the beef that I sell has been reared on our farm, slaughtered locally and hung well for fantastic taste. On Saturday 9th March I will be taking part in the Men’s Walk for Dorothy House along with Mark Russell. Your support towards this amazing charity would be hugely appreciated!

I am taking part in the 2024 Men's Walk to Support in aid of Dorothy House Hospice to help raise vital funds to support the Hospice's work in the local community. I will be walking 8 miles on Saturday
