Once upon a time, in a cosy little village wrapped in the scent of fresh bread and morning sunshine, there lived a humble pork sausage named Percy.
Percy wasn’t the longest sausage, nor the fanciest. He wasn’t covered in truffle oil or sprinkled with exotic spices. He was simply a good, honest pork sausage made from the finest cuts, seasoned perfectly, and packed with flavour.

“Good morning,” Percy said nervously.
Millie smiled. “You smell wonderful.”
Percy blushed beneath his perfectly browned skin.
The two spent the morning chatting while customers bustled around them. They spoke about life’s simple pleasures: steaming cups of coffee, lazy Sunday breakfasts, and the joy of making people smile.
As the day went on, Percy realised he had fallen hopelessly in love.
When lunchtime arrived, a chef gently placed Percy beside Millie. A golden hash brown joined them, followed by melted cheese that draped itself around Percy like a warm embrace.
“This is perfect,” whispered Millie.
Percy had never felt happier.
Together they became the most popular breakfast in town. People travelled miles to enjoy them. Couples shared them on first dates. Families laughed over them on weekend mornings. Friends gathered around them after long walks.
Years later, villagers still told stories of Percy the pork sausage and Millie the muffin. Not because they were fancy or glamorous, but because they proved that the greatest love stories are often the simplest.
And whenever the scent of sizzling pork sausages drifted through the village, people would smile and remember:
