Come and visit us at Model Farm Shop (HR9 7NN) and get your organic kalettes, curly kale, savoy cabbage, cauliflowers, carrots, potatoes, lemons, garlic etc. We will be closing on Saturday 28th February so are clearing the shop stock and freezers.

As some of you may be aware, the building works for the new Enterprise Park finally began this week. In addition, there will be roadworks going up on the main road outside the shop from Monday for the next 34 weeks. Taking all of this into account we have decided to close the shop for the duration of the work and will today be starting our closing down sale. The shop will close on Saturday 28th February.

We would like to thank you all for your loyalty and support over the years. And obviously hope to see you in person over the next week. There should be some bargains to be had!

This week we have some outstanding Traditional Red Poll beef in stock, reared organically on 100% pasture diet by local farmer, John Joseph who is the winner of 2025 Soil Farmer of the Year award.

Coq au vin anyone? This week we have a rare opportunity to buy some stewing hens - ideal for those old classic recipes, nutritious bone broths and slow cooked meals. £9 each or two for £17. Visit us at Model Farm Shop, Hildersley, HR9 7NN. Looking for organic, 100% grass fed meat reared by local farmers that farm in harmony with nature then we have exactly that. Aside from our organic beef, lamb and veal we have free range pork from the farm, and the most delicious soya-free chickens that are golden in colour (because they eat so much grass) and taste like chickens should!

And Jackson has made some of his amazing venison burgers.

This week we have plenty of organic veg from Werna's garden - purple sprouting broccoli, new potatoes, courgettes, french beans, mixed salad, carrots, beetroot...........

And some handmade turkey, ham and leek pies with suet crust pastry, sausage rolls, quiche and cakes.

Looking for organic meat and vegetables? Come on down to Model Farm Shop, Hildersley, Ross on Wye, HR9 7NN.

This week in the shop we have some organic rose veal, reared here on the farm - a variety of cuts from chops to escalopes to osso bucco. Also on the counter are our delicious venison, beef and lamb burgers. All beef and lamb is Organic and 100% grass-fed (Pasture for Life certified).

From Werna's garden we have new potatoes, runner beans, french beans, courgettes, tomatoes , chard, and mixed salad, all organic and picked fresh for the shop. You can order a weekly seasonal veg box when you are in the shop.
