🫧 AIRLOCK 101
That little thing bubbling away on top of your fermenter? It’s doing more than you might think. 👀
During fermentation, yeast produces CO₂ - and that gas needs somewhere to go.
That’s where your airlock comes in. It lets CO₂ escape while helping protect your w**e, b**r or c***r from outside air and unwanted contaminants.
And those little bubbles? They can be a satisfying sign that fermentation is active - but remember: no bubbles doesn’t always mean no fermentation!
Small, simple, but pretty important.
And because different setups call for different solutions, we stock a wide range of airlocks for home brewing, w**emaking and all kinds of fermentation projects. Whether you're just getting started or looking for a specific type, there's plenty to choose from.
Now you know. Airlock 101 complete. Time to pick your own.
