Local meat & game, seasonal fruit and vegetables, local, regional and European cheeses, charcuterie and over 100 food and drink producers from Sussex and Hampshire. With aged, grass-fed Hampshire beef, South Downs lamb & Pork, hogget and mutton, goat and offal, we have the full range of meats cut to order at the butchery counter. Our butchers make sausages from scratch and supply our kitchen. We h

ave game in season, including venison from Stansted Park, wood pigeon, pheasant and partridge. Our seaonal vegetables and fruit are from Chidham and we have local herbs and asparagus, with foraged food from the coast and South Downs. Our deli stocks local cheese, including the award-winning Tunworth Cheese, along with a great selection of Spanish and Italian meats, pesto and olives.

The continuous months of sunshine have resulted in a beautiful harvest of the sweetest figs which have been hand-picked by us from Stansted Estate.

They are delicious on their own, or paired with goats cheese or proscuitto and will only be available for a week or two, so grab some while you can. Other fruit in season includes strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, the first of the Victoria plums and early apples.

If you enjoy hedgerow foraging , the blackberries are ready early too so whilst you're walking, explore your surroundings and find some delicious treats!

We’re delighted to welcome Jeremy to Stansted Farm Shop, who has joined our team with his new concession, Downland Butchers.

With excellent experience in whole-carcass butchery, Jeremy will be sourcing only the finest quality meat and game, all expertly prepared at our butchery counter.

The counter will be open Tuesday to Saturday, with a full butchery service including cutting to order, so you can choose exactly what you need for your table.
