All done with the Cherries this season. The nets are rolled up and we are goin Fishin. Some fruit was lost to early frosts, but it was a good harvest with very good quality fruit. The PYO went well this year, lots of happy families picking and eating and enjoying the great weather. We also bought a new Honey Extractor and the Bees have been werkin very hard to bring home the product. The Honey has excellent color and taste, and heaps of it.So if You want Honey come see us. The busy season is coming with a rush. We need a hard working young couple, (Woofers) who also want to make some money. The sleep out is a work in progress so if you have a van that can accommodate you that would be great. We provide a facility for shower, laundry and cooking. We want people who are honest and intelligent, no drunks or wasters, for about 6 weeks from mid Nov to Jan 1. The work involves putting up bird netting, cherry picking, help with PYO (pick you own cherries), local market and loads of fun. We love to run the jet boat, go fishing, swimming, catch trout and there is easy access to some of the best cycle trails around. We also have bikes.

Spring has truly sprung here! We have been getting the orchard ready for the coming season. Had a great fruit set and lots of bees that have all helped with this. The weather has been kind lately and we hope it remains that way. We have been making mead which is proving to be delicious, flavoured with different fruits from the orchard. Luke is building a sleepout which is shaping up to be very cool. Garlic is growing well and we are able to sell early garlic at the farmers market this year as there is no other garlic in the market at this time.

Hi Everyone, Just getting my head around this facebook thing. Jed has been helping me with computer skills. We have been so busy this year, Finally built new cold store along with shed to keep gear and fruit out of the weather.Was finished in time for last seasons fruit. We had an excellent season with heaps of good quality Cherries. The PYO( Pick your own) has taken off with tourists and locals everyone has a great time.We want to thank everyone all our customers and very cool people that have worked with us for their interest and support.
