We have been trading for over 25 years and have built up an excellent reputation for our quality meat. The company has expanded into a purpose built premises with a larger cutting plant, and have also been fully EC approved by the Food Standards Agency โ approval no. 2144. We are audited by the FSA and you are welcome to come and visit us anytime to see first hand just how much we care about quali
ty and hygiene. Alongside this, we are approved under the Beef Labelling Scheme. We, as a company, believe in keeping as much business on the Island as possible. This could have proved difficult as the only abattoir on the Island closed over 20 years ago, but undeterred we worked closely with the local farming community to find an abattoir where the animals could go direct from the farms, to the abattoir and back to our cutting plant. We are pleased to say the majority of our meat is now sourced locally or bought directly from the farmers โ with the rest being sourced from other UK suppliers. Our prime cuts of meat are 21-day age matured, which ensures tenderness and flavour. We are one of the main suppliers of Island sourced meat, and with people more aware of food carbon footprints, the locality of produce is important to both our customers and ourselves, and our traceability is second to none, as we operate a comprehensive and stringent โbatch codingโ system. We value customer satisfaction, which is why we work so hard with local farmers to get the best quality products to pass onto our customers. We supply the general public, hotels, restaurants, nursing homes, residential homes, public houses, outside caterers and corporate companies.
