Supporting greener travel in our community! 🌿

The Jempson Foundation is proud to have donated £100 to Sussex Greenways to help provide secure bike lockers at a discounted rate. By making cycle parking more affordable and accessible, the hope is to encourage more people to visit Rye and Romney Marsh by bike.

It's a small contribution towards a healthier, greener future, supporting sustainable tourism while helping more people enjoy everything our beautiful local area has to offer.

Jempson’s is proud to donate £250 towards the publication of Stone-cum-Ebony a village recipe book 📖🍰

What began with a request for Sue Lowrie’s famous cheese scone recipe after the 2025 Heaviest Pumpkin Competition quickly grew into a celebration of village life, community spirit, and the wonderful cooks behind so many local events.

Following previous projects including Our Village in Lockdown and An Ordinary Year of Village Life, they hope this book will become another treasured archive of memories, recipes, and happy moments shared together.

As contributor Maria perfectly said: “Happy things should be celebrated more.” ❤️
