Thanks so much for all your kind comments. My family and I will be very sad to end this chapter of our lives but we're so lucky to have had the experience.
The Galley will probably be shut for the rest of this week if the weather is as bad as forecasted but we'll be back to kick off our final week on Monday.

Sadly The Galley will be closed permanently from 1st November this year.
I've had an amazing eleven years and feel truly lucky to have run a business in the village where I grew up and have family history going back many generations.
I've met so many great people over the years, many who've become friends and I'd like to thank my lovely regulars for all their support and custom.
I've also had the privilege of having an amazing team behind the counter. Some have been family members and many have become like an extended family returning for multiple seasons.
My mum, Sue has been a constant presence since day 1 and I truly could not have done it without her.
So a heart-felt thank you to all the team, past and present for the hard work and dedication, for always maintaining our high standards and for the parts they've played and the memories we've made along the way.

SUNDAY 27TH JULY
Charlestown History Group Charlestown History Group will be taking over The Galley premises for a fundraising event from 10am. They will be serving bacon rolls, teas and coffees. All welcome! Call in and have a chat about all the wonderful work they are doing to preserve memories of the village!

Please note, usual Galley menu will not be available.
