Busy "click & collect" session at the Peninsula Food Market on Saturday at St.Davids Rugby Club! SO MUCH Lovely Local Produce from our Lovely Local Producers 🥰 (and bits and pieces from Suma Wholefoods)!!! 🍅🥬🍆🥒🥕🥗🥔🥰

The only things that hadn't arrived yet when the pictures were taken were the eggs from Lower Treginnis - Farms for City Children 🥚🥚 but there was only so long that our lovely customers could be kept waiting while we "made content"🤣 Meat, fish and ready meals are kept "on ice" ❄ ⛄❄ in the cool boxes along the back 👍

A couple of our local producers are helping to put on this QUIZ NIGHT for the Welsh Ploughing Association on Friday, 4th September 2026 -- Join St Davids Old Farmhouse Brewery and Snipes Bay Meats for some great local beers and pulled pork rolls, test your knowledge of "stuff" and have a fun night out 🍻

Tickets are available in store at the St Davids Old Farmhouse Brewery -- highly recommend to secure yours soon so you don't miss out!

Of course, both the excellent local beers and local pork are also available to buy in the Peninsula Food Market online shop at www.pfm.wales whenever you like 😃

Great to have a surprise visit at the Peninsula Food Market on Saturday from Dan Jones who co-founded "the Hub" with Alan Wheatley back in 2020 😃

A great chance to catch up with some old friends and customers and take a few pictures for the PFM "family album". As Dan arrived to collect his order towards the middle of the session, most of the lovely local produce had already been collected, so he only got to see a fraction of the abundance usually on display at the beginning, oh well ...

Lovely to see Dan in any case and to be able speak to him about what we've been up to.

Lots of fresh fruit & veg available in all shapes, sizes and colours so you can really "eat the rainbow" as they say 🌈 -- just look at those aubergines and early red cabbages! There is a handful of tickets left for this event organized by one of our local producers Caeriad -- a small-scale, community-run, no-dig market garden in St Davids.

Come and join them at the table for a scrumptious supper prepared by local volunteers under the guidance of "local chef-legend" Jon Morrell (formerly of the The Really Wild Emporium)

The menu is being built around locally sourced seasonal ingredients reflective of everything offered by the unique coastal landscape and mild maritime climate of the St Davids Peninsula.

You may recognize produce from several local producers listed on the Peninsula Food Market.

We've restocked the range of locally blended and roasted coffees from Westmoon Coffee roasters up in Cilgerran, including the "guest blend" India Monsoon that Rod has been experimenting with. It has an earthy, textured, chocolate and liquorice flavour profile ... well worth a try!
