One of the best farmers' markets in the North East, come and see for yourself - we trade on the second Saturday of most months:

Saltburn Farmers' Market launched in an Easter blizzard in 2008, and now regularly attracts over 9,500 people and around 35 stalls to the elegant seaside town for our regular foodie markets. And .....We were runners up as National Farmers' Market of the Year in 2014! the market runs from 9am-2pm. Best to be early to catch the best bargains.

Coming along to the market this Saturday (12th)? Don't miss Tracey Iceton and her barn owl, Sparky!

Not only will they have a stall with signed copies of Tracey's book, Sparky: My Barn Owl Story, but they'll also be doing a talk and feeding demo in the Saltburn Town Centre Teaching allotment at 11am, subject to weather. This'll be the perfect chance to see an owl up close and learn more about them - perfect for kids (and big kids)!

We can't wait to find out more about this fascinating bird, so make sure you pop along and see them too. PS. The Town Centre allotment is behind Signals Cafe and a great place to buy local produce and freshly made soup on market day!

Banish any lingering chill in the air with sustainable clothing from Drift Surf Shop 🏄 They'll be with us at the market on Saturday 12th with lots of their designs for you to browse.

This Saltburn based surf brand is focused on sustainability and reducing waste. Their clothing is made using organic fabrics and screen printed by hand using earth friendly inks so that they should last for years, saving you money and helping the planet.

NEW GUEST STALL ALERT 🚨

Come and meet Tracey Iceton, the author of the gorgeous Sparky: My Barn Owl Story. She'll have copies of the book to sell and would be happy to tell you all about Sparky! 🦉

When she decided to step back from teaching creative writing in 2020 to work more with animals, Tracey certainly didn’t imagine that she would end up with a barn owl. But after a chance meeting and a whole new friendship, Tracey wrote the book, both from her and Sparky’s point of view, with an imagined account of what Sparky's life might have been like for the five years before they met.

Part memoir-part novel, it tells of how Tracey adopted Sparky, a captive-bred barn owl, and follows them on their journey together as they learn each others’ ways. Signed copies of the book will be available and Sparky will be there to meet shoppers, and show how she feeds during a demo (more info to follow).
