WE ARE CLOSED TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY 3rd JUNE.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused but we have taken the decision to use tomorrow's bad weather forecast as a chance for some much needed rest and recuperation.
We're sure you're all aware of the work that we put into running the shop 7 days per week but probably don't know that we have a busy wholesale/catering business that takes up a tremendous amount of time too.
Our business has started to look like a 24hr operation with orders coming in at all hours, Vic getting out of bed shortly after midnight to go to the market, young Victor scrambling to get orders out before the shop opens, Henry setting up and manning the shop until 4pm and Georgia picking up our Italian range at 9pm (on occasions) before spending hours sorting invoices and other clerical work, as well as spending plenty of hours in the shop.
Whilst we are very grateful for the business we have and not wishing to complain about anything, there have been a few mistakes creep in and signs of illness in the camp. Vic is very keen to not allow a recent cold irritate the lung infection he had throughout the winter.
We thank you all for your understanding and we will be back to normal on Thursday, we have a lot coming up and need to make sure we're fit enough to do it all.
