We're looking for a part-time Butchers Assistant to join our friendly, busy Farm Shop Butchery team. 🍗🍖

The role will support the three Butchers in the preparation of a variety of products, packing and labelling them for our farm shop.

We are looking for someone who can work Monday & Tuesday, 9am–3pm.

One of our more curious looking veggies! Not only do these Pineapple Courgettes look amazing, they taste delicious too! Grown right here on the farm by The Wonky Veg Club

This year we have grown "pineapple" courgettes for the first time. They have quite an alien like appearance 👽! Treat like an immature courgette or store as a winter squash when mature.

Here is the first of our Great Taste Award winners. 🤩

Our Simply Scrumptious Scotch Egg is handmade by our talented chef Toby in our café kitchen. Made with our Simply Scrumptious Sausage Meat, encasing a soft boiled free-range egg for that perfect yolk, and then coated in golden breadcrumbs.

Judges commented "This big, well-breadcrumbed egg gave everyone the "ooooh factor" on cutting, as the deeply coloured egg yolk oozed out attractively. The sausage meat is generous, and there are no gaps with the egg. The sausage is also great on the nose, porky and seasoned, which matches the flavour. The texture is moist and chewy, and delivers those flavours well. We loved the level of seasoning, which properly enhances the flavour profile, leaving the pork to still win out overall."

The judges also said "Well presented, this is evenly coated in golden breadcrumbs. The meat is sweet and well seasoned, with natural meat flavours, and complemented by the creaminess of the jammy egg yolk which creates a gentle, delicious and long lasting taste."

The Wonky Veg Club are doing a sterling job keeping us supplied with delicious veggies in challenging growing condition. The produce is delicious and grown just meters away here on the farm. A very short field to fork journey! 🥔🍅🥒

Fresh in at the farm shop, delicious Oxfordshire-grown strawberries and cherries. 🍓🍒 We can confidently say that these plump, ripe fruits last soooo much better than supermarket-bought. And they actually TASTE how they are supposed to!

And they come in fully recyclable packaging too. ♻

You'll find them in the chiller, but they don't stay around for long! 😋
