🚜 Today may feel like a small victory for the farm protest movement. Another political chapter closes, but hoping for change has never changed anything.

While politicians celebrate or commiserate, farmers are still fighting for their businesses, their livelihoods, and their children’s futures. The reality is that for too long, the priorities of Westminster have been focused on political survival rather than the people who keep this country running.

We don’t endorse political parties. The truth is there isn’t one that has earned our trust. We will ask difficult questions of this government and the next because the countryside has been silent for far too long.

Most people understand that what affects farmers affects everyone. Food security, rural jobs, thriving communities, and a strong economy all begin with a successful farming sector. What we all want is a Britain where hard work pays and where businesses can plan for the future with confidence. The current cycle of uncertainty is failing everyone.

So we won’t simply hope the next Prime Minister is better. We will insist on better. Accountability, integrity and action are the bare minimum.

As farmers, we must do our part too. We have an appalling lack of representation. The problems facing our industry didn’t appear overnight; they have been allowed to grow for years. We have now reached the point where enough is enough.

If we want change, we must represent ourselves.

Where do we start?

🚜 A genuine level playing field on imports and farm assurance standards.

🚜 A farming industry that can make a profit without working impossible hours.

🚜 Stronger, independent representation for British farmers.

🚜 Politicians who listen, understand and act.

The countryside isn’t asking for special treatment. We’re asking for fairness.
