We’re getting ready for the Hub to open soon and are now accepting donations of fabric, unused greeting cards, and gift bags.

If you have any in good condition and suitable for resale, we’d love to give them a second life. (no curtains, duvets or fabric scraps please)

The Refillery will soon be moving into The Hub 🏡🌱

To prepare for the move, our last trading day at 13 High Street will be Tuesday 25th March. But it's not goodbye to The Refillery, it’s the next chapter.

As we get ready to move, all food in the Refillery is now 50% off to help us clear stock before the transition (excluding Pic 'n' Mix).

During March, The Refillery will be run by our lovely Sustainable Shrivenham volunteers while our staff focus on getting The Hub ready to reopen.

Many of these volunteers are stepping in for the first time to help us get through this busy period, so we kindly ask for your patience and understanding.

A smile and a bit of kindness will go a long way and we’re so grateful for your continued support. Thank you for being such a wonderful community 💚

Big news: The Refillery is moving in with The Hub this spring!🏡

When the idea of The Refillery was first dreamed up, The Hub was lucky enough to be in a rent-free space. By the time The Refillery opened its doors, we were also facing uncertainty about whether The Hub would even continue into 2026. Creating The Refillery at that moment helped keep our work and values alive through a time of change.

Since then, The Refillery has achieved so much and taught us a lot. We were also really pleased to share that The Hub will continue in the same building — although, like many things these days, it now comes with increased running costs.

So, looking ahead to spring, we’ve taken a careful look at what will be sustainable for the future and made an exciting decision:
The best bits of The Refillery will be moving into the new Hub, alongside everything that already makes the Hub such a popular and well-loved space. ✨

This means one stronger, brighter home for Sustainable Shrivenham, bringing refill, community activities and all our shared values together under one roof.

It’s not the end of The Refillery story… it’s the next chapter! 📖

This step is all about building a resilient, welcoming Hub for the future and continuing to build a greener vision with our community in the best way we can.
