**IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT**
Dear Valued Customers,
As you may have read the butchers has been put up for sale yesterday afternoon. (20th Jan)
All the staff had been told before this as we wanted them to know first, as they are more than employees; we class them as family.
The business is being sold as a going concern, so all staff jobs are protected.
The shop will certainly not be closing and will be run, as it is now until a buyer is found to continue Kirks.
The business has been in the Kirks ownership since 1962 and has since them had a number of refits, as we purchased 62 then 60 high street over the years; With our greatest accolade of being crowned Britainās Best Butcher 2018-2019
Its time now to let someone else take over the reigns and take it forward into the next century with new products, ideas and ambitions, such as online sales, click and collect etc, which is definitely the way forward, and is something we presently lackā¦
But as said earlier we will still all be here until that buyer is found..
