‼️Butchers tip - Always look at the weight and compare this to your local butcher, not just how many are in the pack.

It’s easy to think the supermarket is better value as it’s 4 chops vs 2 from the butcher but it’s the weight and quality that matter. We hope this video shows you a fair comparison based on the weight and price.

We’re back with Ben to see what our turkeys have been up to since we last visited in July, when they were only a few days old! Safe to say they are a lot bigger...and a lot louder!! 🦃

WE'D LOVE YOUR HELP!! 🥩

We've been chatting to quite a few of you lately about how you like to shop. Some of you love our pre-packed options (grab-and-go, perfect when you're in a rush), while others prefer the traditional counter experience. Don't worry...both are ABSOLUTELY here to stay!

BUT...we've been thinking about the traditional "price per kg" that butchers use. We know it can be tricky working out what you'll actually pay, and we want to make sure shopping with us is as simple as possible.

SO, what would work better for you:
•⁠ ⁠Simple guide price per item? (e.g. Chicken breast - approx. £3.00 each)
•⁠ ⁠Price per kg but with typical weights as a guide? (e.g. £12/kg - average breast 200g = approx. £2.40)
•⁠ ⁠Keep things as they are?
•⁠ ⁠Something else altogether?!

Butchers vs Supermarket Shop 🛒👀

We recently went to the supermarket to buy some more products for new content so we decided it might be helpful to do a comparison shop seeing what the products in the supermarket cost us vs purchasing in our shop.

Yes your butcher may be slightly more expensive but it’s probably not as expensive as you think. And it’s definitely a nicer experience shopping and chatting over the counter with your butcher!

These comparisons are hard to do as it’s often not apples with apples which is what we want to try and show.

The supermarket pork wasn’t British and included 4 uneven steaks with no rind but it was the cheapest they offered. Ours is Free-Range, British Pork.

We’ve got lots of videos to come comparing the difference in the individual products.
