It is with very heavy hearts that we have made the difficult decision to close our village shop with immediate effect.
Even though we have only been open for six months, we have truly loved being part of the village and meeting so many lovely people. Your kindness and support has meant the world to us, and we are so grateful.
We will be opening for one final day on Saturday the 14th, 11:30am to 5:00pm, selling all remaining stock at half price. We would love to see you if you are able to pop in and say goodbye.

Sadly we have had to shut the shop for the rest of today as it is flooded outside making it difficult to even get into the shop and also the road closure is causing problems. Back open as normal tomorrow..

❤️ A Message from Your Village Shop ❤️

We opened the shop last year with the hope of providing a convenient, friendly place for our village to shop locally. We’ve absolutely loved being part of the community, but we want to be open and honest with you all.

Unfortunately, the shop hasn’t been as busy as we had hoped, and at the moment it’s costing us more to keep the doors open than the shop is making. We would love to keep the village shop open, but we can only do that with your support.

If you’d like to keep your village shop, it really is a case of “use it or lose it.” Even small, regular purchases make a huge difference.

We’d also really love to hear from you:
👉 What would you like to see stocked in the shop?
👉 Are there products, essentials, or local items that would encourage you to pop in more often?

Please let us know in the comments or have a chat with us in the shop. Without an increase in support, we may sadly have to make the difficult decision to close.
