This week, we headed to one of our trusted suppliers Westlands UK in Buckland to explore the varieties behind their speciality tomato range and see first-hand the expertise that goes into growing exceptional British tomatoes.

From San Mazarno to Yellow Vine, every variety is carefully nurtured in Westlands' state-of-the-art glasshouses before making their way into the boxes our customers know and love.😍

On Saturday night, the Hawkstone Choir didn't just win Britain's Got Talent, they gave a voice to British farming.

Behind every field, every harvest, every early morning and late night, are the people who work tirelessly to grow the food that feeds our nation. People who face challenges that often go unseen.

Farming can be a lonely profession. Long hours, unpredictable conditions, and the pressures of the industry can leave many feeling isolated. Yet one of the most powerful messages from the Hawkstone Choir has been that no one should have to face those challenges alone.

It was incredibly powerful to see the farming community represented on such a national platform, showing that this was about so much more than a television competition.

🥬 The much-anticipated UK Tenderstem season is just around the corner! A true highlight of the UK brassica season, Tenderstem is prized for its tender stems, delicate flavour, and versatility across a wide range of dishes.

We expect the first crop to be here very soon, so keep your eyes peeled. 👀

With the right weather conditions, volumes will gradually increase as the season develops, as British produce takes centre stage and delivers the freshness and quality the season is known for.
