We Grow Co A social enterprise growing and supplying great, fresh local vegetables. We also provide work placements for people with Autism

Great veg boxes for a great reason. Welcome to We Grow social enterprise. We provide supported work placements for young autistic people in an outdoor, real business setting. Previous Green Enterprise of the Year winners, we deliver locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables via a veg box scheme to the communities of Southport and surrounding areas. Established by Autism Ventures in 2010, 150 young autistic people have benefitted from over 60,000 hours of specialist support from our dedicated staff team within a range of business settings to increase work and life skills, their self-esteem, health and wellbeing. Most have been supported whilst in education, usually towards further or higher education, into employment, training or volunteering.

Our shop is packed full of fresh, seasonal fruit & veg, and when you order a box, you can swap out items for something else you fancy or add a few extras to make it just right for you.

Autism Initiatives is delighted to offer fully funded opportunities for young people aged 13–17 to build confidence, and develop new skills all in a supportive environment.

Our team will support everyone each step of the way, helping them grow in confidence while learning fun and engaging hands on skills.

Not only is this vibrant veg packed with powerful antioxidants, but cabbage has been enjoyed by humans for over 4,000 years! 🌿

Red cabbage has a long history too, with records dating all the way back to the 12th century.
