🎭 Carnival of Venice 2026 has begun!
Starting on January 31st, Venice once again transforms into a timeless stage of masks, tradition, and celebration.
Rooted in history since 1094, the Venetian Carnival is a symbol of freedom, mystery, and joy — where everyone becomes equal behind a mask.
🍩 And no Carnival is complete without its most iconic treat: fritòle veneziane.
These soft, golden fritters with raisins and pine nuts have been the traditional Carnival dessert for centuries, once prepared exclusively by the historic fritoleri of Venice.
✨ Without fritòle, it simply isn’t Carnival.

My Verona 🇮🇹❤️

L’autorevole testata inglese The Times invita a guardare oltre Venezia per scoprire le molte anime della regione, con particolare attenzione proprio al territorio veronese. Finalmente all’estero si comincia a capire che il Veneto non è semplicemente l’entroterra di Venezia.
A noi veronesi dà ancora fastidio lo slogan inventato dall’amministrazione regionale sotto la presidenza Zaia che definiva la nostra regione “The Land of Venice”.
Con tutto il rispetto ed anche l’ammirazione per quello che ha rappresentato nella storia la Serenissima, il Veneto è molto di più. E lo sanno bene gli storici che lo portano come esempio di regione multipolare, multicentrica, dove l’appendice, semmai, è Venezia, e non il contrario, non foss’altro per le proporzioni territoriali e demografiche.
