Scotch eggs are fresh out and ready to go! 😍

☀️ Good Morning!

It’s a lovely cool start today and we’re looking forward to another busy few days before we head off for our family holiday next week.

We’ve got plenty in store this week including:

🥚 Lots of fresh Scotch Eggs
🥧 Plenty of Pork Pies
🍔 Homemade Burgers
🍢 Chicken Kebabs available Friday & Saturday, along with a few other kebab flavours as they’ve been so popular recently!
🔥 BBQ Packs will still be available until we close on Saturday.
🐖 Plenty of Pork with fantastic crackling this week too, so if you’re after a roasting joint, this is a great time to grab one.
🧈 And the butter is finally back in stock!

Just a reminder that after this Saturday we’ll be closed for one week (3rd–10th August) before reopening on Tuesday 11th August.

If there’s anything you’d normally pick up during the week, or anything you’d like to pop in the freezer, now’s a good opportunity to stock up before we close.

🥪 Sandwich Update

Unfortunately we won’t have sandwiches available today (Thursday) due to an unexpected fault with our sandwich machine.

We’ve got the replacement part arriving this afternoon, so with a bit of luck and a few repairs we’ll be back serving sandwiches as normal on Friday and Saturday.

Sorry for the inconvenience. It’s frustrating for us too, especially with it being our last few days before the holiday, but sometimes these things happen!

🥩 The counter is packed today! 🥩

We’ve got cracking rump, sirloin and fillet steaks, plus some beautiful ribs of beef at a really good price 😍

🔥 Plenty of BBQ packs
🍢 Lamb kebabs
🌶️ Chicken tikka and tandoori chicken packs on offer
🥧 Plenty of pork pies

Our new 7oz Chuck Burgers are ready too! 🍔 They’re completely gluten free, made from beef chuck minced just once, with only a tiny amount of salt and pepper. Rich, beefy and full of flavour, almost like a big thick smash burger 🤤

This week’s special sausage, alongside our award-winning plain pork, is Fennel and Garlic 🌿🧄 A delicate fennel flavour with a lovely garlic punch. Absolutely delicious!

We haven’t managed to make Scotch eggs this week, but there’s still plenty of variety for you.

Please don’t leave it too late, especially on Saturday, as we do sell out quickly! 😊

🔥 Saturday BBQ stock update! 🔥

The kebabs are flying out and we’re struggling to keep up! We’ll be stopping production around midday, so please come down nice and early if you fancy some 🍢

We’ve also got plenty of:

🍔 BBQ packs and burgers
🥩 Lamb koftas and cracking beef
🌭 Lots of sausages
🥧 Pork pies, but they’re running low!

Pop in early and get stocked up for the weekend ☀️🔥

🔥 BBQ READY AT TINKLER’S! 🔥

We’ve got some cracking BBQ packs made up, along with:

🍔 Beef burgers
🐑 Lamb and mint burgers
🔥 Lamb kebabs
🌭 Traditional Cumberland sausages

And just look at that beef! 😍 We’ve got some absolutely terrific Hereford beef in this week, ready to be cut into some seriously impressive steaks 🥩

☀️ A quick note about the hot weather

We may be closing at 2pm today instead of 3pm.

We’ll also be taking the main counter off at around midday and moving everything into the big fridge to help protect the motors and keep all the meat lovely and cool. We’ll probably do the same tomorrow too.

So please don’t worry if the counter looks a little empty. We’ll still have plenty available in the back, so just ask! 😊

☀️ Sandwiches are back on this week! 🥪

Now the hot weather has calmed down a bit, we’re back to a nice normal week in the shop 🙌

We’ll have everything as usual, including plenty of:

🥚 Scotch eggs
🥧 Pork pies
🥧 Our new chicken, leek & bacon pies
🥩 Steaks
🍔 Burgers
🔥 Minted lamb kebabs
🌭 Special flavoured sausages from Thursday onwards

We’ll still be doing bits for the BBQ too, and we can marinade anything you like, just ask us at the counter 😄

We haven’t fully decided on this weekend’s sausage flavours yet, so if there’s something you’d love to see, let us know! 👇
