🍽 Thursday Meal Inspiration from J York Butchers 🍽
Creamy Steak & Mushroom Tagliatelle – ready in around 25 minutes 👌
🥩 What you’ll need:
• 500g rump steak, sliced
• 1 onion, finely sliced
• 250g mushrooms, sliced
• 2 cloves garlic, crushed
• 300ml double cream
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
• 300g tagliatelle
• Handful of parmesan
• Salt, pepper & a little oil
👨🍳 Method:
1. Cook the tagliatelle in salted water until tender.
2. Season the steak and fry in a hot pan for 2–3 minutes, then remove.
3. In the same pan, soften the onion, mushrooms and garlic.
4. Stir in the cream and mustard, simmer for 2 minutes.
5. Add the steak back in, then toss through the pasta.
6. Finish with parmesan and black pepper.
Simple, hearty, and perfect for a Thursday night 😄
