We’re back from our summer break next week and straight into peak tomato season 🍅

While we were away, Cinderwood got in touch. They’ve harvested nearly 300kg of tomatoes.

Being a small, seasonal kitchen means we can react when our growers have an abundance of something particularly good.

Next week is Tomato Week at Tawny.

A menu celebrating British tomatoes at their absolute best, while supporting our growers when they need it.

New on the menu this week at Tawny 🐟

Fish Stew- Mussels, Jersey Royals, Fresh Tomatoes, Basil, Aioli & Focaccia.

Merguez Frites- Spiced Lamb Sausage, Harissa & Shoestring Fries on Baguette.

Topped Focaccia Slice- Crispy Potatoes, Spring Onion & Chilli Oil

🌿 Tawny Suppers UPDATE 🌿 Thanks to everyone who have joined us so far this year for our monthly Tawny Suppers ! It’s been lovely to be able to serve you canalside this season with the weather being warmer !

For those who haven’t been before, the last Friday of every month, we host a seasonal supper, 4 courses for £55 including a welcome drink. Coming up into the summer season, we’re always really excited to be working with suppliers such as and to bring you the best of British seasonal produce.

We have one seating left for 4 guests at 8:30pm for our June 26th supper.

Bookings are now open for our July 17th
& August 28th Suppers. Our July Supper will be introducing our lovely Tawny chef, Amy with a Supper slightly earlier in the month as we will be getting Married at the end of July ✨

At Tawny, we make everything from scratch, our sauces, focaccia, pickles, the lot ! We use local & organic suppliers where possible. We avoid ultra processed ingredients and use the best cooking ingredients we can get our hands on!

We’re currently stocking on our deli shelves, we love their Japanese pantry staples, just simple ingredients as they should be without any additives, chosen for flavor rather than shelf life !
