Hello to all our new followers 👋📚

We thought it was time to properly introduce ourselves!

We are Metis Bookshop — a small independent business based in Stockport with a love for pre-loved books, hidden gems and giving stories a second chance. ♻️📖

You’ll usually find us at local markets, car boot sales and community events with tables full of books for all ages and interests — from children’s favourites and modern fiction to history, sport, vintage and collectable books.

We also sell books online through eBay, helping books find new homes all across the UK.

One thing we are especially passionate about is rescuing books that might otherwise end up thrown away. We happily accept book donations and can even help collect large quantities if you are having a clear out, moving house or dealing with a loved one’s collection.
