RANT: Last week I spent quite some time setting up a nice video to show off our new products. Now, since I dared to boost the post as an advert, META is having a go at me. Apparently, there are copyright infringements, because you can see the product logo, I name the brands, etc. I mean, hello? I run a shop, and we sell things. How will I be able to inform customers about WHAT I am selling when, according to META, I am not allowed to?

So, they are suggesting changes which do not make sense at all. And if I do not do as they tell me, they will not only delete the ad (which I have already done myself), but they also threaten to take my page down. They did not even tell me which advert they are referring to. That was easy, as there was only one I was trying to run.
On the other hand, they had no problems charging me for this advert!
The advert has been taken down and they are still sending me their crappy email.
What the heck????
I have no idea what else to do, seriously. Any ideas? Please let me know in the comments.

PS.: just for information purposes: we have imported a lot of German treats, from chocolate to Aachener Printen and other lovely things, many of which are not usually available in the UK or very hard to find. Just visit the shop in person or shop on our website!

We’re taking a short break for our annual holiday!

The shop will be closed from WEDNESDAY, 8th of October, and we’ll reopen on MONDAY, 27th of October.

To our lovely US customers – a quick heads-up:
Because of new import tariffs (rumoured to be around 20% or more), we’ve had to temporarily pause standard shipping to the USA.

You can still order if you’re happy to cover any tariffs, duties, and extra customs charges on arrival — and if you promise not to refuse delivery because of these fees.

We know it’s a pain, and we’re keeping a close eye on the situation so we can go back to normal as soon as possible. 💛
