Morning all, just to make you all aware, our fridges and freezers are fully operational again. All the damaged pipework has been replaced and contractors have secured them fully so this won't happen again.

Also, I've heard from a number of customers that when they try to contact the store, they end up speaking with a call centre and don't get the service they're after. Let's cut out the middle man, any issues you have, whether it be complaints, compliments, suggestions, etc, please contact me direct as you will get a resolution a lot quicker instead of being passed from pillar to post, just for it to come to me in the end anyway.

Hi all, just a quick update. The damaged pipe is currently being replaced and the whole system will need to be flushed then vacuumed to remove any moisture. The engineers are planning on handing them back to us at around 2pm tomorrow where we’ll start to fill them back up. Thanks for your patience and understanding, Carl

Morning all. Some bad news today, it appears the storm has damaged pipework on our roof which has led to half of our new fresh and frozen cabinets having to be emptied. Our fridges and freezers run off 2 separate packs so only one affected, but this means our butcher’s meat and poultry is off, as is frozen chips and veg, cheese & butters, milk & cream and ready meals. We have engineers on site now fixing the issue, but I didn’t want you coming down and not knowing what’s happened and what we’re doing about it. I’ll update when I know more about when it will all be back up and running. Thanks, Carl

A few cracking reductions on some baby items this morning. Only got 5 of the twist & click bins, 9 of the thermometers and 6 weaning kits left. You’ll find them on the baby end facing the checkouts at the bottom of aisle 9. 👍

Morning all. Well after 16 weeks of work, our fridges and freezers are all installed, our market street counters are all in and just a little bit of snagging left to complete. I hope you agree, but they and the shop on the whole look so much better and I’m glad I could get this money spent on our store after so many years of neglect.
