MARKET DATES: The first Wednesday of every month in the academic calendar. SB's monthly Farmers' Market at Sutton Bonington Campus, selling fresh, local, seasonal, organic produce e.g. vegetables, fruit, bread, eggs, meat, honey, preserves etc. The market is held once a month during term times, 11.00am-3.00pm. In the Winter months you can find us in The Barn. In the Summer months, we are out on th

e Front Lawns. Why did we decide to set up a Farmers' Market here on SB campus? To support local producers & farmers (especially in these tough times); to promote integration between the local community & those living/working on campus; to provide fresh, local & tasty food for all! 🍺 Thirsty Farmer cider are looking for part-time workers 🍺

One of our stallholders, Thirsty Farmer, is expanding their programme of farmers markets and events 🤩

They are looking for independent, flexible, part-time workers, to help run their stalls, on weekends and occasional weekdays!

The role will involve:
- Driving the company vans to events, meaning a full UK driving licence is required 🚗
- Setting up gazebos/displays 🛠️
- Serving customers 🗣️
- Taking card payments 💳
- Representing the business 📈

Experience is useful but not needed, as you will receive training!

It was brilliant to see some regular & new faces, we hope you all enjoyed it as much as us!🙌🏼

Please note there is NO market in July due to the April student’s summer holiday🌞

Come & visit the SB Farmers Market stall between 11am-3pm tomorrow to collect your membership cards & merch bags! 🛍️

We are looking to introduce some merch for our members to buy, this may include things like polos, gillet, quarter zips and MORE!
