Part-Time Butcher Wanted
We are a well-established, local family butcher with a strong reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for an experienced Butcher’s Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside skilled butchers in a traditional, customer-focused environment where pride in the trade is paramount.
The Role:
Assisting with the preparation and presentation of high-quality meat products
Supporting the butcher in daily operations
Maintaining impeccable hygiene and food safety standards
Serving customers with a professional, knowledgeable, and friendly approach
General shop duties including stock rotation and cleaning
Requirements:
Due to the nature of the business, previous experience in a butchering is essential
A strong understanding of food hygiene and safety
A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Confident and personable with customers
Working Hours:
3 days per week, 7:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday working is essential.
Overtime available to cover holidays (6 days per week when required).
