Good Morning. It's Gwennie the Managing Director here. You may guess from my expression that I am a bit peeved. Some people are still using our old FB pages (this one, Crafty Dog Preserves Cymru, or Crafty Dog Designs Cymru) despite our communications team telling you all that they are old pages and about to be mothballed - any comments and messages won't be read. Everything Crafty Dog Cymru has moved over to the Crafty Dog Cymru FB page. I don't want to have to scowl at you all again!

Crafty Dog Preserves Cymru will be moving with the Designs and Books pages to one new page - Crafty Dog Cymru. It will put all three FB pages into one joint page, which will be much easier to update and for you to find our fabulous products.

Hi All. This page will soon replace the Crafty Dog Designs Cymru and Crafty Dog Preserves Cymru FB pages and eventually Crafty Dog Books too. It's hard keeping all the separate FB business pages updated, and, as we are also moving our website to Shopify, it's the perfect opportunity to streamline things. The very first jam we ever made which set us on this gastronomic journey - Crafty Dog Cymru Hot Chilli Jam. It's not too hot, just that littlle chilli tingle that makes it suitable for most foods, such as cold meats, or cheeses. Why not think outside the box and try it spread on bacon under the grill? Or try it with salmon. It works especially well in a peanut butter sandwich or peanut butter on toast (like a satay). One of our original chutneys, made to our own recipe. It includes a tot of Calvados apple brandy from the Pays d'Auge in Normandy (a little nod to Mrs Crafty Dog's heritage). Open the jar - it smells like Christmas! Fabulous with cheese, cold meats, bacon (even pretend bacon!) or stirred into a casserole. This one is a real cracker - especially with a cracker and cheese! Our sweet and sharp, tangy and fruity, with a chilli tingle on your tongue, Tomato & Chilli Chutney. The lovely taste is matched by the beautiful colour of the tomatoes. This is all balanced by our blend of 3 vinegars. We often recieve compliments on our Lemon & Lime Marmalade because, "It tastes like marmalade used to taste." One customer said it was "because you only have fruit, sugar and pectin" and "not all those additives".
