This is definitely NOT where they’re supposed to be…

Clearly they’ve discovered that the bird feeding station drops plenty of tasty leftovers and have decided it’s now an all-you-can-eat buffet!

This morning I told Gav I’ve done enough cooking — if he wanted breakfast, he’d have to do it himself! 😂

He put the bacon on, then wandered off to do a million other jobs and completely forgot about it.

A while later I said, “What’s that smell?!” 😳

This was the result… 🤣🥓🔥

Safe to say Gav will be sticking to farming from now on 🚜 🤣

Sorry all, I’m not even going to pretend I’ve got a good excuse… I’ve made that much custard this week that I refuse to make any more today! 😂

(At least I’m honest! 🤣)

So unfortunately there will be no custard slices tomorrow, but they’ll be back next week. 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who’s bought them this week – I genuinely didn’t expect them to disappear quite so quickly!

For those who missed out, don’t worry, there will be plenty more homemade custard slices next week, made the old-fashioned way using our own fresh free-range eggs straight from the farm. 🥚🐔
