NEW RUGBY LEADERSHIP TEAM ANNOUNCED 🚨
As a club, we are delighted to unveil our new Rugby Leadership Team ahead of the 2026/27 season 🏉
Leading the senior squad will be Josh Humphreys, who has been appointed Head Coach. A former long-serving player and coach, Josh knows exactly what South Gower RFC stands for and now steps back into the fold for a second spell.
We’re also incredibly proud to welcome Mike Ruddock OBE as our Forwards & Technical Coach. A Grand Slam-winning former Wales Head Coach, Mike brings over 35 years of elite coaching experience and will play a key role in forward play and technical development.
Joining Josh and Mike as Kicking Coach is former Swansea RFC and Welsh international fly-half Aled Williams, who brings invaluable insight into game management and tactical kicking.
We’re also pleased to confirm that 1st XV player Sam Court continues as Assistant Backs Coach, supporting player development after making a strong start to his coaching journey last season.
Overseeing it all, Andy Moore remains as Director of Rugby, guiding the club’s long-term strategy and ensuring alignment across junior, youth, and senior rugby.
