To keep our markets varied and exciting for customers:

🛍️ No duplication for craft stalls — we aim to have one of each craft/product type where possible.

🍰 Food stalls may have some crossover, as food categories can naturally overlap.

📋 First come, first served!

The order of applications will be based on when you complete our Register Your Interest form.

Once you’ve submitted your interest:

➡️ We will send booking forms out in order of interest received.
➡️ If your stall type is already represented and there is a duplication, we’ll let you know and place you on our waiting list.
➡️ Places are limited, so don’t hang around!

And just like that… my holiday is over and I’m back in a Flash! 🫢✨

Back to juggling market life, small business life, family life and work life — yup, I clearly don’t know how to sit still! 😂

But I’m back, and October’s market is looking fabOOlous! 🎃🍂

Just a little reminder that there will be no market in September this year, so October is our next one — and we’ve got some brilliant small businesses joining us!

Our November and December markets are also shaping up beautifully, and we can’t wait to start sharing all the wonderful businesses who are booked in. ❤️

In the meantime, please keep spreading the word about our market! 📣

A little market update 💛🎃

Just a little note to let all our lovely followers and stall holders know that I’m currently taking some much-needed time away to switch off, recharge the batteries and enjoy a little breather. 🌿☀️

Running the market is such a lovely (but busy!) job, and sometimes even market organisers need to step away, put their feet up and have a proper recharge! 😴✨

I’ll have limited access to messages while I’m away, so please don’t worry if I’m a little slower than usual getting back to you. I’ll catch up with all your messages, enquiries and bits and pieces as soon as I’m back.

And before we know it, we’ll be back together for our Halloween Market on 4th October! 🎃👻🕷️ I’m already looking forward to seeing all our amazing stall holders and lovely visitors — it’s going to be a spooktacular one! 🧡

We’re now collecting expressions of interest for our market on

Please note: this is not a booking form — submitting your interest simply lets us know you’d like to be considered.
Selected stallholders will be contacted closer to the date with full booking details.

⚠️ Closing date for application 6/9/2026 unless all spaces are full.
⚠️ currently we are mainly looking for food and drink stalls - as most craft stalls are currently full unless you would like to be added to the wait list should there be any change (please bare in mind as we are a small community market we do not duplicate where possible on craft stalls)

Some people come to the market to sell, but others become part of its heart. Jac was one of those people.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of our dear friend and much-loved stallholder, Jac. She was a cherished member of our market family, always ready with a smile, a chat, and a kindness that brightened so many days. Her absence will be deeply felt by fellow stallholders, customers, and everyone who knew her.

As a community, we’d love to help Jac’s family during this incredibly difficult time. A GoFundMe page has been created to help towards the cost of her funeral. If you are able to make a donation, no matter how big or small, it would be so greatly appreciated. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this post so we can reach as many people as possible.

The market has always been about more than buying and selling—it’s about friendship, kindness, and looking after one another. Thank you for helping us show Jac’s family just how much she meant to our community.

What a lovely day at the Takeley & Little Canfield Local Sunday Market! 💕

A huge thank you to everyone who came along today. Whether you stopped to browse, had a chat, made a purchase, or simply supported all the local businesses by visiting, it really does mean so much.

It was wonderful to see so many friendly faces and meet some lovely new people. Thank you to all the amazing stallholders too—it’s always a pleasure being part of such a supportive local community.

I hope everyone who picked up some goodies enjoys filling their home with beautiful items! If you missed out today don’t panic we are back on 4th October while we have a short break in September🩷
