We recently donated books to Stoneydelph Primary School to celebrate World Book Day. The books were provided by the Morrisons Foundation and were selected in partnership with the National Literacy Trust.

📖📖 2026 is the National Year of Reading and the aim is to provide more reading opportunities for pupils 📖📖

The description of the person who stole the tub was actually a white male on a mountain bike. White, wearing all black, hoodie and face covering.

🚨 Help needed🚨
Our collection tub (like the one pictured) was stolen this morning at approx 8am by a young male student. It was half full and the money would have gone to raise funds for Marie Curie. It may have been dumped when they realised it had foreign coins in it. So, if anyone sees it in the vicinity of Upper Gungate or has a child that knows anything about it please contact the store as we would really like to get it back ☹️☹️🤞

We chose to use our donation to support Dordon Community Store in providing a Christmas meal for those that would otherwise be alone. The wonderful Carol and Jean cooked up a storm with the supplies they purchased and approximately 60 people benefited from a good meal, company and some Christmas cheer 🎄🍽️🦌🎁⛄
